The most expensive GIF of all time is an article explaining the copy and innovative artwork that was created from an original piece of art from the Balloon Dog from Jeff Koons. He sold it for $58.4 million dollars at an auction, making it the most expensive work of art ever to sell at an auction. Another artist Michael Green remade the original and called it Balloon Dog Deflated. It was multiple Balloon Dog images fused into one GIF and how it is a representation of the original piece of art and how it is ironic re-working. GIF has been a popular format that mainstream culture embraced This article embodies that fact that modern art and the evolution of art from the value and concept of the painting to creating something new and unique that kills the old ways and creates way for the new art and GIF to be created. But even though it was unique and different there were still no takers for the GIF for $5,800. There is a medium where new innovations and new inspiration from the tools that are here. These innovators wont have a name like Jeff because culture has separated itself from the value of paintings so this article speaks of the modern art and the way it has changed and the value behind the innovation from new artists.
