Inspiration/Planning For Zine

This is my brainstorm and I am basing my zine off of family guy and Homer and vanoss gaming. Family guy is a show I have been watching for quite some time now and I have always loved how they have animated the series and also the jokes that are put in there. It is adult humor but it is something that I love about it because they take a cartoon and make it more mature and hilarious to watch so I want to create a story/zine that is funny and more for older audiences. My plan is to use a magazine style with a front and back and make it into a flip book cartoon where the flip of the paper goes to the next frame, so it is seems as like it is moving, a flip book zine.

Vanoss gaming is a youtuber who makes animated series off his video game clips and I have watched him sing I was a kid. His animated series is what I am focused on for my zine tho when it comes to animation, super hilarious looking characters and the story is based off an event that happened during his video game chats with his friends from funny moments. I love animated series with adult humor, cursing, and funny jokes made with his friends and the creativity that is put into them is on a different level since there isn't really a script being followed, just funny moments animated.

My last inspiration is Avatar the Last Airbender show. I really love the creativity of the show and I believe for most people that it was their first or at least favorite animated show when they were kids and it has been super popular even after finishing. The art and the scenes were so well done and well animated and the story is always evolving and introducing new characters so I would like to implement that into my zine where new characters come in and include more for the humor and the story in general.
